DinePlan Permissions and Reports

Here is the document about the Permissions for the User Roles. In DinePlan, every user who wants to login to the DinePlan Application should have a Role Attached to it and User Role has the Permissions

Category Permission Name Description

Navigation Permissions

 

This Category Permission is mainly for the user to Login to the different part of the Dashboard of the Application 

 

 

Open Navigation Would you like the User to see the Dashboard or not 

 

Open FrontDesk

Do you allow the User to Open Front Desk?

 

Front Desk helps the user manage the Petty Cash Expenses, Report

 

This permission must be given for the Other Permissions like Open Quick Reports, Open Reports, Open Till Transactions to be enabled.

 

 

Open BackOffice

Do you allow the User to Open Back Office?

 

BackOffice helps to manage the Printers, Change Automation.

 

Open WorkPeriods

Do you allow the User to Open WorkPeriods?

 

It helps to manage the Day or Shift

 

Open Tickets

Do you allow the User to Open Tickets Button?

 

Tickets Page helps the user to see the Previous Tickets or Print Duplicate or Sync from DineConnect

 

Open POS

Do you want the user to Open the POS

 

Open Quick Reports

Do you allow the User to Open Quick Reports?

 

It helps to manage the outlet sales report. 

 

If we give this permission to the user, the user should be accessible to reports and we can control what individual report user is accessible to see. 

 

Open Till Transactions

Do you allow the User to Open Till Transactions?

 

 

Open Custom Reports Do you want the user to see the Custom Report at the Outlet or not

WorkDay Permissions

 

Start WorkPeriods Do you want the User to Start the WorkPeriods or Work Day 

 

End WorkPeriods End the Day or not will be controlled via this Permission for the User

 

Reset WorkShift

Do you allow the user to reset the WorkShifts after it is closed?

 

There are times the user enters the wrong amount and they would like to enter it again. 

 

 

End WorkShift

Do you want the User to End the Shift

 

Display Old Work Periods

The user is allowed to Filter the Old WorkPeriods or not

 

 

Display Old Work Shifts

The user is allowed to Filter the Old WorkShifts or not

Ticket Permissions

Add Items To Locked Tickets

Once the Bill is taken from the Table, Ticket will be locked. Do you allow the user to add items to the Table or Ticket once the bill is raised?

 

Move Orders

Do you allow the user to move the Order from the Locked Ticket or Table to other Table?

 

Move Unlocked Orders

Do you allow the user to move the Order from the UnLocked Ticket or Table to other Table?

  Change Item Price Do you allow the User to change the Price of the Product?
  Display Old Tickets

The user is allowed to Change the Dates in the Ticket Explorer. It helps to user to check only the Current Day Tickets.

 

 

Display Other Waiters Tickets

Does the User is allowed to see the Other User Created Ticket in the Table or not.

 

Display Ticket

Do you allow the User to see the Ticket from the Tickets Page or not ?

 

 

Display Total in Ticket Explorer

Do you want the user to display the Total or not ?

 

 

Re-Open Non-Current Period Tickets

Do you want to open the Closed Ticket in the previous WorkDay or not?

 

Change Entity

Do you allow the User to change the Table once the Ticket has been sent to Kitchen?

 

Print Ticket

Do you want to User to Print the Duplicate Ticket from the Tickets Page?

 

Merge Tickets

Do you allow the User to Merge Tickets or not?

Department Permisisons

Change Department

Do you allow User to change the Department or not. 

 

If this permission is disabled, user can see only the Allocated department for the Role after logged in.

Reporting Permissions

Print WorkDay Report

Do you allow the User to Print the WorkDay Report from the Work Day Page or not

 

Print WorkShift Report

Do you allow the User to Print the WorkShift Report from the Work Shift-Page or not

 

Print Till Transactions Report

Do you allow the User to Print the Till Transactions Report or not while adding the Till Transactions?

 

Till Transactions are Petty Cash Expenses.

 

Change Report Date

Do you allow the User to filter the Date in the Quick Reports Page ?

 

Display Today Date

Do you display only the Current Date in the Report Automatically?

All other Permissions are related to the Report to be displayed or not for the User. The reports are

It gives the Report by Tickets which has occupied the Table

It gives the Complete Member and Usage of Items Tickets

SUMMARY Payment Summary Report

The report which helps to see the Tickets by its Payment

  Daily Sales Summary Report

It gives the Report by Date

DELIVERY Deliverer Report

It gives the Report for the Deliver

  Deliverer Summary Report

It gives the Report for the Deliverer Summary

  Deliverer Tag Summary Report

It gives the Report for the Deliverer by Ticket Tag for the Delivery

In DinePlan, if the Login User has the Admin Checked, the user can do the tasks even if it is Permission is not enabled. In Back Office, there is a setting called Restrict Permission from the Program Setting. It will stop the following permission for the user to perform even if its the Admin Checked. Here are the restrict permissions currently available.
